Hi Allen, thank you for your note. And cool last name — I had a chance to visit Matsumoto Japan last fall. Regarding your question about the word ‘rubric’ — I actually can’t remember why I used that term, but yes, the whole idea around it was ‘is this project appropriate?’ And I’ve used different scorecards to determine that. Maybe ‘scorecard’ is another potential term, though it sort of implies that there’s some inherent worth in the project, whereas the rubric is really just about whether it’s right for me (or us, if I’m working with others.)
